our own maximum standard, which not only comprises all established certifications, but extends them by own processes.

QUALITY ASSURANCE GUARANTEED
Of course, quality is a matter of standard conformity, of narrow manufacturing tolerance ranges, precise manufacture to dimensions. Therefore our capillary and precision tubes are certified according to all quality standards existing and ETHEN ROHRE has several times been certified as a company. In order to ensure special qualities, ETHEN ROHRE has been cooperating with external test laboratories.
For ETHEN ROHRE quality, however, goes above and beyond compliance with standards: It originates from passion for the precise manufacturing of capillary tubes and goes down to smallest dimensions. The key to the special ETHEN quality is the production process that was developed in-house, has been constantly refined over more than five decades and is implemented on our own tube drawing machinery. Even today, that process comprises the handiwork of a team of highly qualified, skilled workers. On request they manufacture tubes with tolerance ranges even narrower than required by the established standards.
We guarantee you the special quality of ETHEN ROHRE by way of the ETHEN quality assurance agreement. With that additional agreement, we do not only guarantee you compliance with all existing standards, but also compliance with our own standards that go far beyond that.

KTA APPROVAL
ETHEN ROHRE is allowed to manufacture tubes for nuclear power plants – Certificate of the Nuclear Safety Standards Commission
ETHEN ROHRE disposes of the KTA approval for the manufacturing of capillary and precision tubes for use in nuclear power plants.
The KTA 3201.1 certificate of TÜV Rheinland confirms that ETHEN manufactures tube solutions according to the standards of the Nuclear Safety Standards Commission (KTA). That commission of the federal government is in charge of defining safety regulations for nuclear power stations and promoting their application.
The certification confirms for ETHEN ROHRE that:
- the workshop equipment permits the production and testing of nuclear power components
- their quality assurance guarantees consistent production on a high level
- the supervisory and testing staff is suitably qualified
PSO CERTIFICATION
Certified assurance: Also in future ETHEN will be a preferred supplier for automotive customers
With the requirement for suppliers in various TIER-levels, to undergo a certification for product safety, the automotive trade has made one further step towards the delivery chain with shared responsibility. Joint responsibility that we at ETHEN have tackled offensively.
Since May 2018 our managing director Tobias Kirch has successfully been certified according to VDA QMC and with that qualified as a product safety officer (PSO) for ETHEN ROHRE.
For the automotive sector knowledge and application of a risk management system, product safety management as well as of structured processes for risk classification have been proved within the scope of certification.
