Quality strategy enhanced: ETHEN ROHRE invests in capillary tube testing system
ETHEN ROHRE, manufacturer of capillary and precision tubes, invested in a capillary tube testing system (KPA). This way the long-established company continues applying its strategy to position itself as a quality and service leader.
The KPA is a multi-functional system that can carry out eddy-current and tests for mixed-up components as well as apply roller stamps. This way production processes can be optimised and made more flexible and testing security can be increased.
ETHEN ROHRE designed and realised the KPA in a joint effort with the FIR of RWTH Aachen and a renowned mechanical engineering company.
The investment is part of the Ethen quality programme, on the basis of which the internationally operating tube manufacturer organises production engineering and control more tightly around its customers. Already completed within the programme are the introduction of campaign production and an ultra modern grinding machine.
