ETHEN ROHRE, manufacturer of capillary and precision tubes, invest­ed in a capillary tube test­ing sys­tem (KPA). This way the long-estab­lished com­pa­ny con­tin­ues apply­ing its strat­e­gy to posi­tion itself as a quality and service leader.

The KPA is a mul­ti-func­tion­al sys­tem that can car­ry out eddy-cur­rent and tests for mixed-up com­po­nents as well as apply roller stamps. This way pro­duc­tion process­es can be opti­mised and made more flex­i­ble and test­ing secu­ri­ty can be increased.

ETHEN ROHRE designed and realised the KPA in a joint effort with the FIR of RWTH Aachen and a renowned mechan­i­cal engi­neer­ing company.
The invest­ment is part of the Ethen quality pro­gramme, on the basis of which the inter­na­tion­al­ly oper­at­ing tube manufacturer organ­is­es pro­duc­tion engi­neer­ing and con­trol more tight­ly around its cus­tomers. Already com­plet­ed with­in the pro­gramme are the intro­duc­tion of cam­paign pro­duc­tion and an ultra mod­ern grind­ing machine.
