New ERP-Sys­tem for even more cus­tomer orientation

 

Our objec­tives at the intro­duc­tion of a new ERP and pro­duc­tion plan­ning soft­ware were ambitious:

  • respond to cus­tomer wish­es even more flexibly
  • get even quick­er and be able to give bet­ter information
  • give even bet­ter sup­port to our cus­tomers as regards pro­duc­tion requirements
  • flex­i­bly co-design our cus­tomers’ sup­ply chains
  • invest in the dig­i­ti­za­tion strat­e­gy accord­ing to our pro­gramme: ”ETHEN Chal­lenge 2020”

In order to exact­ly achieve this, we have suc­cess­ful­ly intro­duced a new ERP and pro­duc­tion plan­ning soft­ware at ETHEN in the first quar­ter 2017 – after care­ful joint prepa­ra­tion with the FIR at the RWTH Aachen. It pro­vides for sup­port of our cus­tomers’ pro­duc­tion or deliv­ery process­es as effi­cient as nev­er before. For exam­ple in repeat­ed pro­duc­tions or in cam­paign plan­ning with fixed pro­duc­tion lots.
