Our mission for more than 65 years
Our capillary and precision tubes are part of machinery and plant manufacturing processes throughout the world. They are used to pressurise, regulate and control in the fields of medical engineering, raw material extraction and energy generation. We feel at home in all areas of application where maximum precision and heavy-duty characteristics are required. Therefore we manufacture our products on precision machinery developed in-house. Therefore precision regarding diameters only starts with the decimal places. That is why we have been a paragon of quality for more than 65 years. The importance of our products for our customers’ value creation spurs on our team.

OUTER DIAMETERS OF 0.7 MM TO 19.05 MM FOR ALL MATERIALS
On in-house developed tubes drawing machines, to which all the experience of our manufacturing experts was contributed, we manufacture capillary and precision tubes with an extraordinary range of outside and inside diameters.
The ETHEN tolerance standard is +/- 0.05 mm for outside diameters and +/- 10% for wall thicknesses. Tolerances DIN EN ISO 1127 D4/T4. Narrower tolerance ranges on request.
LENGTHS UP TO 6,400 MM OR AS SHORT AS YOUR REQUIRED BY YOUR APPLICATION.
On our advanced cutting machines, we also cut your capillary and precision tubes to length accurately down to decimal places – ranging from the ETHEN ROHRE maximum length of 6,400 mm to sleeves of minimum length. A service we offer to customers who value our standard of quality for tubes not drawn in our works as well.
SLEEVES FROM 2 MM LENGTH AND A OUTER DIAMETER OF UP TO 19.05 MM
Based on our capillary and precision tubes manufactured in-house, sleeves are made within very narrow tolerances for diameter and length in the ETHEN manufacturing centre. The latter are made with absolute precision on our advanced automatic sawing machines. Thanks to the standard barrel finishing procedure, we can offer them with a low-burr finish. ETHEN ROHRE produces sleeves from all materials ranging from titanium to Hastelloy, nickel and stainless steel.
